At Rio Rico Consulting, professionalism starts with presentation. While we encourage individuality and comfort, each role has unique expectations for attire based on responsibilities:
CEO / Project Lead – Expected to wear business professional attire (button-down shirt, slacks, dress shoes, blazer optional). As the face of the team, the CEO should reflect leadership and confidence.
Market Research Analysts – Attire should be business casual. Analysts often interact with community members during surveys and interviews, so clean, approachable, and comfortable clothing (polo, blouse, khakis, or flats) is recommended.
Operations & Supply Managers – Should dress in practical business casual. Since they may coordinate supplies or visit different locations, attire should be professional but allow for mobility (collared shirts, slacks, comfortable shoes).
Financial Officers (CFOs) – Expected to maintain a sharp business professional look. They will present financial reports, so neat dress shirts, ties/blouses, and formal shoes are encouraged to build trust and credibility.
Marketing & Sales Managers – May wear trendy business casual with a polished edge. Since they promote the business, their attire can be stylish and creative but must remain professional (dress shirts, blouses, dresses, or polished slacks).
Community Liaison / Sustainability Officers – Should balance professional and approachable attire. As they represent the company in community partnerships, a neat but welcoming look is expected (button-downs, blouses, slacks, or dresses).
Design & Pitch Designers – Allowed more creative business casual attire. Since they focus on visuals and presentations, they can incorporate creativity into their look (smart-casual with clean, professional flair).
Support/Assistants – Expected to wear basic business casual to maintain flexibility while supporting different departments.
General Rule: Everyone should avoid ripped jeans, graphic tees, or overly casual wear. When presenting to Rio Rico Consulting or community partners, the standard rises to business professional across all roles.
